Book Reviews and Recommended Reading
BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS
I maintain a book list for use of my readers, customers, attendants of
my courses, and everybody else who is interested. It is organized as an
annotated reference with a brief description of each title.
The list does not claim to be complete in any way. A title is
included in this list if and only if I personally find it worth the money.
-
Either I read it myself cover to cover and found it useful for my work,
or
-
I reviewed it to see whether it would be a good companion for any
of the seminars I teach, or
-
it was recommended to me by a peer who found it useful.
The book list is fairly long and split into the following sections:
Java
C++

BOOK REVIEWS
In a addition to this list of recommended reading we've been writing reviews
of numerous titles. Most of the reviews were published in a print
magazine or an online magazine. If you want to browse the reviews
